Sharing your credentials with others

You can share one or more credentials using public views.

A 'public view' is a presentation of credentials to a third party (e.g. an employer, school or friend). We call it 'public' because you share it via an Internet URL; however, the URL contains a random ID that is not guessable by those who don't have the link (and we ask search engines not to index our public views). Later, we plan to add the ability to require a user log-in to access a credentials view.

You can create as many public views as you want, to share one or more of your credentials in different combinations.

To share some or all of your credentials by a public view, click on 'Create Public View' on your personal home screen. This allows you to choose which of your credentials you wish to share, in which order. Then just click 'Create' to obtain the link, which you can share however you wish (e.g. email, chat, etc.).

Once you have created a public view, you can make it disappear from the internet by clicking 'Mark inactive' below the view (and then maybe 'Mark active' to make it available again).
